Digivite is a social platform where users can create, publish, discover, and interact with user-generated posts and content.
1. Eligibility and Age
Digivite is intended for users aged 13 years and above. Users under the age of 13 should not create an account or use the service.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, Digivite may collect or process:
- Full name
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Username and user ID
- Profile information such as bio and editable location or address details
- Village or town, block, district, state, PIN code, and country where provided
- Posts, descriptions, headlines, categories, subcategories, manually entered post locations, and optional post images
- App activity related to features such as post views and likes
- Latitude and longitude when the user chooses to use a location feature
3. Account and Authentication
Account information is used to create, manage, authenticate, and secure user accounts. Users may sign in using supported identifiers such as email address, username, or user ID. Passwords are handled through the application's authentication system and are not displayed publicly to other users.
4. Location Information
Location access is optional. When a user chooses to use a location feature, Digivite may obtain and save latitude and longitude to support location-based experiences. Users can use the basic app and publish posts without providing GPS location.
Profile details such as country, state, district, PIN code, block, and village or town may be entered or changed by the user. A location entered while creating a post is a manually provided description and is not necessarily the user's GPS location.
5. User-Generated Posts and Content
Digivite allows users to create and publish their own posts and content. A post may include text, a category, subcategory, optional headline, optional manually entered location, and an optional image.
Content submitted by users may be stored and processed as necessary to operate the service, display posts, and provide related app features. Users are responsible for the content they choose to submit or publish.
6. Profile Images
Digivite allows users to upload and update a profile image. The selected profile image may be stored securely as part of the user's profile and displayed within Digivite where applicable. Users can replace or update their profile image using the available profile features.
7. How We Use Information
We may use information collected through Digivite to:
- Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
- Provide and operate app features
- Publish and display user-generated posts
- Provide location-based content when the user chooses to use location features
- Maintain app functionality, safety, and security
- Respond to support requests
- Improve the functionality and user experience of Digivite
8. Permissions
Digivite does not require location access for basic use. Location is used only when the user chooses to use a location-related feature. Where an optional post image is selected, the app may use the device's available image-selection functionality to allow the user to choose an image.
9. Payments and Paid Features
The current version of Digivite does not provide active paid features or in-app payment functionality. Users are not required to make payments to use the current version of the app.
If paid features or payment functionality are introduced in a future version, the applicable terms, pricing, and relevant privacy information will be updated before such features are made available.
10. Data Sharing and Public Content
Information that a user intentionally publishes as part of a post may be visible to other users of Digivite. Users should avoid publishing personal or sensitive information that they do not want others to see.
We do not sell users' personal information. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate Digivite, such as backend, authentication, storage, or infrastructure services, where necessary to provide the service.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled through Digivite. However, no internet-based service or electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.
12. Account Deletion and Data Deletion
Users can delete their Digivite account using the account deletion feature in the app. When a user deletes their account, the account and associated personal data are deleted from Digivite's backend systems in accordance with the deletion process and applicable requirements.
Users may also log out of their account and update editable profile information through the available account or profile features.
13. Children's Privacy
Digivite is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create accounts. If we become aware that information from a child under 13 has been collected through an account, appropriate steps will be taken to delete the account and associated information.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Digivite's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will show a revised effective date. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
